We use gold as a medium so as to offer the public an alternative way of helping the Foundation without having to donate money - it also means that the donators get cash back in return, so it is a true win / win for all concerned. When comparing the prices that Goldrush.ie offer in return for gold, it is important to note that 22.5% of the value goes directly to Jack and Jill, and a further 22.5% covers the total costs of administration and recycling costs. This will be discussed in person with every donator before a deal is concluded - this makes the transaction 100% transparent".
